The Origins & Motivation

I’m Jan Scherrer, founder of SNJ Media. This idea started taking shape a few years ago when I realized I wanted to do something creative that brought together my skills, interests, and ambition. After exploring different fields, I found that social media marketing offered the perfect combination of creativity, purpose, and impact. In January 2024, SNJ Media officially launched.

 

From the beginning, my goal was never just to start a business. It was about learning how companies work, taking full responsibility for my path, and pushing myself far beyond what felt comfortable. Building SNJ Media has been both a personal challenge and a way to turn a vision into something real.

Challenges & Growth

Getting started was not easy. Doing research is one thing, but taking the first step, reaching out to potential clients, and securing actual projects is something entirely different. Still, once the momentum picked up, things began to move quickly. Signing our very first contract remains one of the most meaningful moments in the history of SNJ Media.

 

I would not have come this far without the support of Alina, my partner. From day one, she has helped shape the foundation of this agency. Her structure, organization, and creative input continue to guide how we operate and grow. Alina brings a balance to our work that has been essential from the very beginning.

Getting started was not easy. Doing research is one thing, but taking the first step, reaching out to potential clients, and securing actual projects is something entirely different. In 2024, Charles and Adrian officially joined the team. Charles is a close friend and a creative thinker who brings depth and original ideas to every conversation. Adrian and I met through my previous work in IT, and his technical skillset has added another layer of capability to the agency.

 

Together, we are building something meaningful. We are a small team, but each of us brings unique energy and a shared drive to do excellent work. At SNJ Media, collaboration is everything.
